Client: Unilever Research

Project: Full refit of Class 2 Laboratories and Offices

Services Provided: Quantity Surveying, Steering Group, Capital Tracking and selection of design team.

Cost: £ 5 million

Challenges: As part of UK research restructuring Unilever had a critical, short term end date for relocating and accommodating staff at Colworth House. Capital limits were set prior to conceptual design.

Solutions: BPP procured contractors based on schedule of rates. Design development was then checked and controlled against target costs for each room or section.
